The Village of Bartonville is currently accepting applications to create a new 1-year hire list for the Street Department. All applications must be submitted to the Bartonville Village Hall, 5912 South Adams, Bartonville by Tuesday, January 31st at 5:00 p.m.
A written test and interviews with the civil service commission will be scheduled after the application deadline. Upon completion of the written tests and oral interviews, you will be placed on the hiring list in order of scores. If you’re chosen from the list to continue in the hiring process, a full background check will be conducted, followed by a psychological exam, polygraph, and a comprehensive medical exam to include drug testing. We are anticipating at least one position opening in the coming months. Below is a list of some of our benefits.
* Current starting pay is $23.00 an hour with full top out after four years of $30.96 an hour.
* The Village offers health insurance at $45.12 bi-weekly for single coverage and $105.49 biweekly
for family coverage.
* The Village offers vision/dental insurance, and we are currently part of the IMRF pension plan.
* All members of the Street Department are in the Great Plains Laborers’ District Council, Local Union 165.
