The Mendenhall Park backwaters are being drawn down and you will see/smell dead fish. This is a necessary activity to keep the wetlands thriving. We work with state and local agencies on this and are constantly monitoring the area. We are always looking for ways to better Mendenhall and this September we will once again partner with Liberty Steel for a river clean up day.
